Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! (MMAJ) Jakarta 2026 is bringing together anime, music, live performances, iconic Japanese characters, and interactive experiences in one of Jakarta’s largest celebrations of Japanese pop culture.

The MMAJ Jakarta 2026 stage will feature a diverse lineup of performers, including renowned anisong singer Yoko Ishida, alongside Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, Daruma Rollin, BANBANBAN Sameshima, Hayataku, Shiena Nishizawa, Otoha, and many more.  

Visitors will also be able to experience special Meet & Greet sessions with Ultraman Omega and Ultraman Tiga, as well as movie screenings featuring titles such as 5 Centimeters per Second, Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Hot! The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers, Amazing Dino World 2, Make A Girl, and more.  

In addition, a wide variety of Japanese IPs and franchises are confirmed to participate, including Chibi Maruko-chan, Phantom Baby, Kikipuppup, Ponkotsu Quest, Rooster Fighter, Savior of Divine Blood, The Ramparts of Ice, Let’s go KAIKIGUMI, Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You, NMENEKO, Gunpla, and Killed again, Mr. Detective.  

For hobbyists and fan communities, MMAJ Jakarta 2026 will also host interactive Gundam Workshops, offering visitors the opportunity to learn and assemble Gundam model kits on-site.  

Supported by SMBC Indonesia, alongside the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia, JNTO, The Japan Foundation, and JETRO, the event aims to strengthen cultural and creative industry connections between Indonesia and Japan through authentic Japanese pop culture experiences.
